Home Depot Foundation Grant Award

On Thursday February 14th, 2013 The Home Depot Foundation’s COO, Fred Wacker presented Veterans Village with a grant for $600,000.00.  Present at the ceremony were members of the Home Depot Foundation and Executive Management team along with Volunteers from Home Depot that worked feverishly until the final mic check.  Also in attendance were representatives from the County, City and State legislature,  members of the local business community and citizens of Las Vegas.  This ceremony was also the kick off event for a 103 day fundraising initiative ave entitled “VEGAS LOVE VETERANS”
